Identified Parameters

Heat Loss Coefficient (K): How quickly your home loses heat.
Effective Thermal Capacity (C): The ability of your home to store thermal energy.
System Response Delay: The time lag between boiler activation and temperature rise.
Heating Efficiency Proxy: An estimate of your heating system's real-world power output.

Identification Method

Parameters are inferred from temperature time series, heating events, and external weather using a combination of robust regression techniques and constrained optimization. The model is continuously recalibrated as new data becomes available.
